This morning photographers from Connecticut Magazine showed up at work. The Chef prepared an herb stuffed red snapper, and a seared black sesame seed encrusted tuna. Then he came to me and said I am going to use the Fruit Gazpacho you made yesterday for a photo. It came out so beautiful I want to use it. Then asks if it's ok... OK? of course it's OK!!!...My food is going to be published! ...

Yesterday I received an e-mail from the captain of my softball team. It said that our team had been thrown out of the league for forfeiting too many games from lack of players showing up. WTF man!!!....If we paid the $$$ to play the full season....Why the hell does the league have any say in it if we miss games....The opposing team gets the win anyway......WHATEVER!.... I'm sure we'll just use the extra $$$ to have some kind of party!
I'm just gonna miss the social aspect of it all....Some of them have become good friends, and I really look forward to hanging out every week....They are my lesbian social outlet Damn it!!!... I hope the team will still want to get together on an occasional Thursday, or whenever.
Well, at least it leaves tomorrow completly free to go up to Rhode Island, and go boogie boarding all day long....Wooooo Frigin' Hoooooo!!! Kat and I discoverd this place a few years ago. I can't believe that I have lived here most of my life, and never knew that there were BEAUTIFUL beaches just an hour and a half up the coast!!!....Last summer Kat and I were both unemployed and made many day trips up there. I can't wait to catch some Gnarly Waves Dude!!!...I'll post pics soon of our day! :)~
Since I was 5 I have been traveling to Florida. Probably been there at least 15 times, to all different parts. When I was a kid to visit my great gradparents, and at age 21, I packed my crap and moved down there with a boyfriend for awhile. I love the beaches there, especially on the East Coast.... Actually the whole East Coast has great beaches with nice waves and clean water.... except for us who are blocked by Long Island... Mmmmm... lovely Long Island Sound....BLECH!..... I'll travel the hour and a half!
