Last Thursday was my Middle name namesake's......Auntie E-Marie's.... 50th BornDay! She was
born on Friday the 13th waaaay back in 1956....hehehe....and she is the youngest of my mom's sisters. So as per tradition ....our family celebrated on Saturday with a party, and the infamous cane was passed down to her!!!.....I'm next in line....but that's 10 years away.Her and her husband Russell threw an awesome catered pool party at thier house. Swanson's Fish Market provided the food. Stuffed clams, lobster, prime rib, swordfish, grilled chicken, corn on the cob, red potatoes, and cole slaw. THe food was great! ......ooooooh and Auntie Pat made this great hot artichoke dip....I want that recipe!.....
It was nice to see the family. Everyone's so busy lately that we only see eachother on the holidays and special gatherings. I need to make an effort to hang with my Aunts and some cousins more often!

Yes, I had a great time KTGRL....
I have such a big families on both sides.......43 first cousins to give you some idea.
I love hanging out "Con Mi Famiglia" ....I just wish it was easier to spend more time with them all... :)~
