Spicy Black Bean Soup.....Enjoy!
3C Dry Black Beans
1can Chopped Tomato
2C Chopped Celery
1C Large chop Carrot
2C Large chop Onion
3 Garlic Cloves chopped
2 Bay Leaves
1/4t Cayeanne
1t Basil
1t Oregano
1TB Lemon Juice
1/4C Sherry
1 square inch *Kombu *A dried sea-weed that helps in the digestion of the beans
Quick soak the beans by covering them with water and bring it to a boil. Set aside for one hour. Drain beans and return to pot.Cover with water/vegetable stock 3 inches above beans and add Kombu. Bring to boil then turn down to simmer for about a half hour. Remove the Kombu with slotted spoon.Then add all remaining ingredients Except the Tomatoes and continue simmering for 30 min. Until veggies and beans are tender. With your slotted spoon retrieve about a cup and a half of the beans and set aside. Add Tomatoes to soup.
Carefully transfer soup to food processor/blender. You may need to do this in batches according to how big you machine is. Blend until smooth. Add remaining beans and serve.

MMMMMM........soup is good food!
Well I started this blog to share my recipes and knowledge of Healthy food that tastes great ! Most are completly vegan. But you won't miss the meat and still get the protein! These recipes have been tested and tried by many through my years in the restaurants.
