Colorful Connecticut...:)~

Check out our "youtube.com" video of colorful Connecticut

This is definetly one of the reasons I have stayed living in the north east for most of my 40 years....I love the changing of the seasons!!! ...Except for winter...LOL...I like the snow....Just don't care for the bitter cold much.

So we went for a ride up route 8 in CT this weekend to catch some fall foliage. It was georgeous!!! I'm glad we didn't wait till next week, cause it was at it's peak up there. We went to Black Rock State Park, in Thomaston. I highly recommmend this place to do some leaf peeping!!! There are hiking trails that lead up to " The Rock " where you will find an awesome view overlooking the lake and park....

We didn't do any hiking this time.....We packed a nice lunch.... started a fire pit at one of the camp sites..... sat back..... and took in the beauty before us. Here are some pics of our sun-stricken day... Enjoy! :)~
