Our Easter Sunday... :)~

Easter was yesterday. We had a nice day for it too. Not as nice as Saturday though. Kat and I went for a walk with our friends Ella and Catherine on this long paved path that goes through like 3 towns. We were so wishing that we had worn our shorts and sandals, cause it Was that hot!......
Anyway.....Easter was nice enough to hang outside on the decks, and the kids( big and little) to have the egg hunt. Besides the money in some of them, my Auntie Ginny put some really cool stuff inside. Like super balls, rubber stamps, mini koosh balls, parachute bunnys, necklaces......ect.

So for dinner we had roast pork and baked ham, scalloped patatoes, corn pudding, green bean almondine, pickled beets, and rolls....Can I tell you how much I love corn pudding....I will be posting that recipe this week! Then the deserts.....Make your own mixed berry shortcake, cheesecake, brownies, fruit salad, and an awesome ricotta pie that Robin made...I want that recipe!!. I took two of each home...I didn't have any at the house, cause I had two Full plates at dinner.....I hardly ever eat all my food at any meal...So you know it WAS THAT GOOD.....

I asked my Aunt if she was going to make pea soup with the ham bone. "Of course I am" , she said. Your mom wants some and Kimmy want some....THen like 5 of us at the same time were like ...I want some too.....Then we proceded with the pea soup Exorsist jokes.....I know, were sick puppies!.....

Highlights of the day besides the great food...... The rubber stamp fight, Robert and Auntie Ginny having a whip cream fight.....and seeing my cousin's one year old son learning about Reddi-Whip in a can! Kat captured them both on video....Too funny!..... :)~
