What's in the Fridge Salad... :)~

You know, I thought that I was in pretty good shape. I work out 3-4 days a week, and stretch religioulsy every day.......
Ha!
Well.... I took my friend Lisa's 3 kids to the park this week....I showed them some simple stretches.... (mostly for my own benefit) .....LOL...Then taught them a few soccer and basketball drills.
Then we just played.....ran around......had relay races....ran some more.......Finally they got tired and we sat down to take a break....The oldest one starts doing push ups....real ones...not the girly kind ...LOL.....She did 3...I was totally impressed...Of course I had to show off and got down and did 20.....Then they wanted to kick the ball and run around some more.....Did I mention that we did some running?????.....

When we were stretching..... I explained to them why we were doing it ..... and the whole" how their muscles were going to ache the next day" ....Ha!....aha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!.......
Who's muscles were going to Ache??????....Those kids probably felt no pain at all......
Then this weekend I went to the batting cages with Kat, and my friend Ella, and hit some balls to get ready for our first softball practice....My abs are killing me more than when I over do crunches.....
Hmmmm....Maybe I should cancel my membership to the gym and just go play 3 times a week instead!!!......

Not sure what recipe to leave today.....So I'm just gonna post what I ate for dinner tonight....Basically a bunch of veggies I had in the fridge......

What's in the Fridge Salad
1/2 pint Grape tomatoes cut in half
1/2 Cucumber seeded and diced
1/2 Zuchinni diced
1/2 c. Black beans
1/2 Yellow pepper
1/2 Red onion diced
crumbled feta
S & P
1/8c. XVOO
1/4--1/2c. Balsamic vinegar

Toss all ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate for a few hrs. I had some pita bread too. I just heated it in the oven for a few minutes and tore it in pieces into the salad....
