A few years ago I took nasty fall at work, and wound up with a lower back injury. After alot of pain killers, X-rays, and finally a cat-scan they told me I had "Degenerative Disc Disease"..... Which simply means the liquid in my disc is leaking out, and will get worse as I age.
I went through months of physical therapy and Chiropractic sessions....There they taught me to stretch and strengthen my back. Before the injury I would've NEVER thought of going to a Chiropractor....Actually up until that point I thought they were all quacks. But I gotta tell ya, that guy made me walk again!
On my last session he told me if I do nothing else to help myself , to at least properly stretch everyday.

Even with my injury I was totally able to keep up with her work out. After awhile I came up with my own routine to meet my needs. Now, I am certainly not an expert in this field. But I do strongly suggest this workout, and to cover my preverbial ass, recommend consulting with a doctor before begining.
